“Hi, I’m Krystine Edwards and I’m a realtor and designer in Charleston, SC. I’m so excited to welcome you to our home! This home holds a special place for my husband, 3 boys and our dog Scout. We are constantly moving, renovating and redoing homes. I have loved real estate from an early age. I would ask my mom to stop open houses so that I could see how they were decorated and laid out. Fast forward many years later, I graduated college with a degree in Computer Science and began working for a software company. My husband gets the credit to push me into real estate. He said, “you’re too outgoing to be on the phone all day and sitting in a cube selling software. Call my old manager and talk to her.” That got the real estate part going and shortly into our home purchases we began doing little things like updating kitchens, then bathrooms at each of our homes. One day, our friends asked us to invest in an abandoned home in historic downtown Charleston. Things were moving forward and they decided that this wasn’t the project for them. I was so invested that I asked my husband to take the leap of faith. I had the opportunity to work with an architect and to do my first real big project. It gave me the bug to keep going. Our friends loved our home so much that when I took them home shopping they would ask what would you do here? Fast forward several years and homes later, it is now my full-time career. I help clients see the potential in each home. I design the exteriors, interiors, make the selections and decorate the home. The happiness these projects bring my clients fills my heart.”
“Our home is a renovation project with a large addition. The original home was a one and half brick house. We added and additional 2000 square feet to create a courtyard home.” – Krystine Edwards
