Located in East Sandwich, Massachusetts, this cottage was perfectly design by Michele Chagnon-Holbrook, from Casabella Home Furnishings & Interiors. Michele, with a vast knowledge in coastal interior design, decorated the entire cottage in a very serene color palette. The neutral interiors are perfectly balanced by the natural colors coming from the ocean and grassy landscaping that surrounds the cottage.

I love the idea of using a L-shaped sofa and two chairs. This is a great layout for open concept living rooms.
Built-ins
Built-ins always make a space more practical and also more appealing, especially if you pay close attention to detail, like it was done here.
Your Home
I am a big believer that you need to bring home only things that you like. Display accessories that complement each other, building an attractive color palette, but always keep in mind that they should mean something to you. A beautiful home is only beautiful when it reflects the owners’ personality and taste.

I have contacted the designer and unfortunately the house was already painted when she decorated it. A similar color would be “Benjamin Moore Van Courtland Blue HC-145”. Make sure to buy a sample and try on your walls before you decide.

Now this is a perfect beach cottage and look at how close it is to the water! Love it…and the decor is just gorgeous…..beautiful job they did!
It’s funny how some photos of rooms just make you want to stare at them for ages and get lost in whatever it is in the picture that absorbs you. I think every room in this house did that to me 🙂

I don’t have the specific paint color, but it seems to be similar to Benjamin Moore Natural Wicker. This is a very flattering, creamy neutral and you might want to try it to see if you think it works for you. Another option is contacting the designer (please see source).
