Mariah Carey just listed her new house for sale for $5,500,000. The house, located in the Bahamas was where the singer and her husband Nick Cannon got married in 2008.
Mariah Carey’s house has 4,000 square feet, three bedrooms, three bathrooms and is situated on the exclusive Windermere Island which is only accessible by private helicopter or authorized boats.
The listing on Ocean Villas Group reads: “Windermere is a private island, popular with a handful of well-known owners who have their homes here. Sea Lily is right on the ocean front and has superb views from every room of the house. It is just a few steps from the villa to the beach in front.”
The beachfront property boasts stunning ocean views and has a 40ft swimming pool.
News of the sale comes after it was recently revealed the couple – who have 15-month-old twins Moroccan and Monroe together – are spending $150,000 a month on a holiday home in The Hamptons in Long Island, New York, for the summer. The 7,500 sq ft property has six bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, a private cinema and an extensive wine cellar. The huge mansion, which is worth almost $15 million, has its own creek and a huge swimming pool featuring floating cabanas.
Wondering why Mariah would sell this amazing house? The lavish property is rumored to be costing the duo around US$150,000 per-month.
Mariah Carey’s House
Paradise!
Inside
I wish we could see more photos of the interiors, but it seems that Mariah wants to keep it private.
Turquoise
Can you picture yourself here?
Relax
This is the way to go: You’re simply there to enjoy your surroundings and relax. Leave all the rest to the staff.
Notice the stunning turquoise outdoor furniture.
Pool
I’d love to be in that pool right now.
Beach
Isn’t it the best place to enjoy summer?
What do you think of Mariah Carey’s house? Would you buy it?
I understand why Mariah is trying to sell it. It’s not easy to travel all the time with babies and I think that’s why they’ve decided to rent in the Hamptons this summer. It actually makes sense to me, besides, I don’t think it’s easy to see US$150,000 “flying” away just to maintain a house, even when you’re Mariah. Am I right?
I hope you’re enjoying your weekend!

Waooo it’s amazing! I love this house and I love Mariah (she’s a great voice) but sometimes is a bit tacky. I understand that keep this house is expensive, but in the Hamptons is even more!
Have a good weekend!!
Wow! I would and could esaily live out on the patio…lol. The views and gorgeous furniture makes it picture perfect, can almost feel those palm trees swaying!
I can understand your reasoning why she would want to sell this beautiful home but I wouldn’t. Gorgeous.
I agree – I LOVE the idea of having people to set up and maintain a vacation home but wow, that’s quite a chunk of change!
I use to own this mansion 5 years ago,it cost over $400,000 per year to keep it up
Hello Wayne,
It’s definitely a dream home, but yes, I can see someone paying a lot of money to maintain it.
Have a great day!
