We’re in the middle of July but this home makes me miss Autumn and its crisp weather. The kids are back in school and you have that quiet moment in the day where you prepare a hot beverage and stay still awhile, looking outside… Everything is calm. You hear your breath, you feel the warmth of your ceramic mug and there’s peace.
Recently designed by Anya Phillips of heart that built me, this Northwest Contemporary home features neutral interiors that are warm and inviting. Here, the designer shares more details with us:

This will be my clients forever home, so creating a space that felt like it was totally them was incredibly important to me. This home boasts plenty of curb-appeal and architectural inspiration. I love the combination of the dark siding with the Cedar accents.
“The focal point of the main floor are the floating stairs, which you can see from the main living area. Many of the design choices were based on the warmth and tone of the staircase.
