I am not sure if you feel the same, but I do my best to hold on to summer as long as I can and this charming Coastal Farmhouse Lake House, designed by a dear friend of mine and very talented interior designer, Mary of Mary Joseph Interiors, is so welcoming that it will make you feel right at home. Here, the designer explains more about the process of this Texas Lake House project:
“This new construction lake house out in Mabank, Texas was designed for a wonderful family that were repeat clients of mine. We were in the middle of remodeling some of their bathrooms in their primary home and my client mentioned they were in the process of getting bids for an extensive addition to their lake house to add more bedrooms and bathrooms. Their lake house was older and had 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. They entertain large crowds of family and friends almost every weekend. After discussing their needs further, and discussing the bid they had gotten for the remodel, I advised them that building a new home seemed to make the most sense for their needs.” – Mary of Interior Solutions by Mary.
“My clients’ new home is now made for entertaining. It has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a cabana bar. And, unlike their old house that had very limited views of the lake, this new home now has expansive lake views with wall to wall windows across the back of the home.” – Mary of Interior Solutions by Mary.
