Happy New Year, my wonderful friends! We’ve made it to 2022 and how amazing is that?! May our New Year be happy, healthy, prosperous and surrounded by people we love. I certainly will be very grateful if we spend lots of time seeing inspiring home ideas together throughout the year.
I am starting this New and Beautiful Year with a home that carries plenty of good vibes. Located in Fenwick Island, DE, and built and designed by Marnie Oursler of Marnie Custom Homes, this 2,900 sq ft bay front home is literally like living on a boat with all of its amazing panoramic bay front views.
The interiors of this home feature coastal color schemes and elements that seem to make life feel a little lighter and a lot better. In fact, this is my motto for this year. My goal is to bring you spaces where you leave feeling more relaxed and come back to feel the same over and over again.

This home truly is one-of-a-kind!
Flooding concerns? This house is close to the water but everything is above base flood elevation. As a backup, all of the building materials on the first floor are completely waterproof with the electrical work elevated. In addition, we’ve installed flood vents on the first floor to minimize structural damage.
