We’re in the midst of a storm. It’s windy and raining a lot outside but despite the moody weather, I went for a short drive to see the ocean and its crashing waves. The sky is gray and the ocean reflects its dullness but the sound of waves and the rain falling on my car seemed to wash away any stress and slowed down my thoughts.
A renovation is, more or less, quite a stormy sea. Waves of different types of emotions come and go and stormy moments aren’t rare, that’s why it is so important to have someone you trust by your side, someone who knows how to avoid the bigger problems and lead the project in the right direction. It’s like having a loved one by your side on stormy days, someone you can share a view and a moment with.
I have known the brilliant work of Waterview Kitchens for many years now and I love sharing their work as much as I love getting to know every detail of their projects and it’s no different with this Florida kitchen renovation. Here, the cabinet designer shares some insights on this new renovation:
“This young couple lives just down the street from me. He is a chef with a well known catering company in Palm Beach County and the kitchen was designed following the way he likes to cook. Spice pull-outs next to the range, spice racks lining the inside of the pantry cabinet doors, a farm sink for washing produce and prep. Plenty of counter space for cutting and preparing and an open space. They enjoy entertaining and want to let everyone in on the cooking fun!”

Waterview Kitchens created a kitchen with plenty of storage space. An appliance garage, like the one above, is not only perfect to place small appliances like a toaster oven or a coffee machine, but also to store breads and baking goods.
