How great it is to start a new week with you! Did you have a good weekend? I am feeling a little under the weather these days but I will be 100% soon. But regardless of that, I wanted to share some of the most popular paint colors with you today. These are the most recommended paint colors by builders and interior designers and I think you should consider them before grabbing a brush. These 7 paint colors work really well on cabinets, millwork, walls and even exteriors. So give them a try!
Do you have a favorite paint color? Leave a comment! I would love to know your tried and true paint color. 🙂

Black siding is still a strong trend, especially for Modern Farmhouses. The paint color used for this black farmhouse is “Sherwin Williams Rock Bottom”. How do you feel about black siding? Would you paint your home with a dark shade like the one we see here? Design: @MHouseDevelopment 📷: @stofferphotographyinteriors
“Benjamin Moore Simply White” is by far the most recommended white paint color for kitchen cabinets and it’s easy to see why, right? This white feels crisp without being cold and that, in my opinion, is how the perfect white should be. Design: @TimberTrailsHomes 📷: @stofferphotographyinteriors.
“Benjamin Moore Hale Navy” is the most popular navy blue paint color and it’s often chosen by interior designers and builder to be used on cabinetry, millwork and even on exteriors. If you’re looking for the perfect navy paint color, this is one that you might want to try. It’s rich and intense! Design: @kateknowleshome, @ericabryantdesign 📷: @mandymcgregorphoto
If you’re looking for the perfect grey paint color for kitchen cabinets, “Benjamin Moore Coventry Gray” (used in the picture above) might be just what you need! Make sure to see this house tour for further details on this grey paint color. Design: @the_brothers_stonington 📷: @chrisveithinteriors.
“Benjamin Moore HC-172 Revere Pewter” is one of the best seller greige paint colors of all-time. According to Benjamin Moore, Revere Pewter is a light grey color with warm undertones that creates a unifying look that calms and restores. Design: @willhoitconstruction 📷: @timkruegerphotographer
If you’re tired of all “common” kitchen cabinet paint colors such as white, grey (of all shades) and navy blue, green can be a very beautiful and trendy – yet classic – solution. This gorgeous kitchen above is painted in “Sherwin Williams Pewter Green”. To complement the green cabinets, the designer added a long kitchen island in White Oak. Red can be intimidating but it can really make a statement. I love this hue of red because, believe it or not, it feels calming yet energetic. The builder used “Sherwin Williams Crabby Apple” on a Mudroom Dutch-door but this color would also look great on a front door or even on cabinetry.
