Today we’re talking about Pot People. Yes, we are… but not that kind of pot people. We’re actually talking about a couple that really got my attention with their creativity. They build “people” and “animals” using pots. I first saw this on Pinterest and I immediately thought of sharing this here. I usually post interesting and definitely “different” things on “Cool or Fool” and I rarely give my opinion, but I must admit, I think their idea is so cool, so original!
Gone To Pot is a small business in Corunna, MI and you can tell the owners, Rick and Barb love their creations. They even give a special name to every “pot people” they create. There’s “Buttercup”, “Goden Rod”, “Pine”, “Sweet William”. The puppies and cats are so funny! Names? “Cotton”, “Sage”, “Dogwood” and the newest addition to the family, “Catnip”.
I can’t wait to know what you guys think of this! By the way, if you love it, you can visit their website here: Gone To Pot
Hairdo
Notice their hairdo, people! The “girl” wears a “dress”!
Meow
This is what the “Gone to Pot” people has to say about “Catnip”: “This is Catnip. He is 6″ wide, 11″ tall, and 12″ long. Catnip is a curious and playful addition to any garden!”
Stay!
Isn’t “Sage” charming with his bandana?
Sad Dog
“Cotton” seems so sad… maybe we should draw eyes, so we can see. Love his ears, though!
Dogwood
“Dogwood” seems to be a champ!
Vrooommm
Anyone is up for a ride?
Lazy Lady
Wouldn’t she look cute in a cottage?
Papa & Me
“Herb” & “Sweet William”.
Mama & Me
“Petunia” and “Sweet Annie”
Knock
A house for your own pot! How chic is that? π
Oh.. don’t get me wrong!
Fountain
A “spa” for your pot.
Water
That’s what you do when you have too much pot… you pee on another pot!
See
… and don’t think that you’re invisible when you pee in public. There’s always someone watching!
You can see more of Rick and Barb’s fun work at Gone To Pot.
Now, it’s your turn to tell me: Are Pot People Cool or Fool?
One thing is for sure, these Pot People do make me smile!

I can’t believe how fast this week went by. Are you happy today is Friday? There’s always an anticipation for weekends! I’m hoping for a good weather so I can get out, go for a walk and breathe some fresh air.
Seeing these “pot people” remind me I should start taking care of my garden soon, but I’ll be honest, I’m not good at it. I really get freaked out with every little bug I see. I know, ridiculous, right? π That’s why I usually leave my husband to take care of it, but I have decided I want to do some work on it this year, spend more time outdoors, let Matthew explore, see the trees, flowers. My little Matthew just turn 4 months last week and it’s so great to see how he loves exploring everything around him already. He’s on that phase that everything has to be “tasted”, nothing makes sense if it isn’t in his mouth (I know that’s how he explores the world around him). It’s wonderful to see his expression whenever he seems something new. I wish I had more of that… see things with new eyes.
Have a really great weekend, my friends and thank you so much for stopping by today!

Happy Friday, Luciane!
I think this idea is cute, creative and fun, so I would never say it’s ‘fool’… I’m just not that into cutsie stuff, so it’s not for me, but I do admire the ingenuity behind it.
I hope you have a great weekend π

Hi Luciane not fool or cool its quite cute but just not for me made me smile though :)))
Ok its interesting and they get an A for creativity but I have no interest in putting them in my garden anytime soon…..but theres something for everyone!! I cannot believe baby Matthew is 4 months old…..wow time has flown. He must be so cute and really filling out, I bet. Enjoy every minute, have a fabulous weekend!
I think they are very silly. My six year old is looking and thinks they are ADORABLE though! Uh oh…I hope she forgets them soon π
Stacy
Not something I would buy myself but definitely cool and creative.
Sorry, but I wouldn’t put them in my garden! It might be a cute art project for a child.
Definitely not a fit for my garden or yard, but cute for some. So happy for an update on Matthew. Will is 6 months old today and what fun…it’s a great time!! Still don’t know how you do it with three – happy day, my friend ~
These are cute but I wouldn’t do them in my yard mainly because I don’t have little ones around.
I’ve tagged you over at my blog Luciane stop by and see when you have a chance.
Enjoy your Sunday!
