You know that cozy homely feel that our homes have during the holidays? The smell of pine, hot cocoa, cinnamon and freshly baked cookies? These are the things that I am embracing at this time of year and it’s how I want to feel whenever I enter my home. I want to be cheered up by this moment, I want to be embraced by the sensations of Christmastime and I want my decor to feel as warm as my heart is. Everything is cheerful, everything is welcoming and everything is here to add happiness to everyone that stops by.

Oh, how I love the coziness of this place! I have lived in large homes but this one speaks to my heart in a way that none ever did. I love how easy this space is to decorate and anything looks perfect, including this console table that I have had for a while now. It truly looks good at any time of the year and with any seasonal decor.
This rug is a staple! I got it during the fall months but I love it so much that I am leaving it throughout the winter months as well. The colors are perfect to hide any mess and its low pile makes it a breeze to spot clean if necessary. The colors also work great with all types/color of flooring.

My main goal for the Christmas foyer decor found in this foyer was to keep things easy and functional. This a space we’re constantly using, and, with three teens at home plus a puppy, we need to keep things practical, even during the holidays. These ottomans come very in handy because they offer extra storage for shoes or jackets we want to quickly grab before stepping outside the door, not to mention that they are so cute!
