It’s summer and many, many of us pack our bags, get the kids, the in-laws and go to Disney for a couple of weeks of fun, adventure, and countless hours of tiredness, sun and not to mention, bad hair_ who knew it hates humidity this much?! But it’s all right! We forget all of that just to see the kids smiling, or wining, if luck is not being your friend.
If you’re tired of all of that, there’s hope. It seems the homeowner of this house got tired of planning trips to Disney and decided to bring some amusement right into his own backyard. Yes, Disney was not good enough! This person built an expansive lazy river, a 20′ diving pool, a grotto, slides, spas, waterfalls and not to mention the 2 putting greens.
I won’t say I wouldn’t like to spend my whole summer enjoying this place, but would I like the maintenance and, what about the neighbors? I don’t even want to know what they really think of this. What would you think if your next-door neighbor decided to built something like this?

Being it cool or not, I hope it inspires you to get out and actually have some fun during this weekend. Play like a kid for a while… have fun, go do something you loved to do as a kid.. Was it biking? Was it having an ice cream or was it talking to your mother? Do something you haven’t done for too long.
Sometimes, we need these moments that bring good memories and reconnect us to what makes us happy and pure.

OMG!@ Is this for real? My kids would never ever go to school or leave home for that matter!! This is crazy..do they charge admission? LOL…..I would have to say its cool, if they can afford it, it keeps the kids home and not wandering off to other homes….and probably is the most popular home on the block!
Okay … I going to have to go with Fool. This seems like a creepy “Neverland” to me – minus the Llamas. What are you supposed to do with all that when your kids grow up? Don’t get me on a soapbox … but people who spend money on over the top, frivolous crap drive me crazy. Skip the water slide and give to charity. I’m off my box now. Big Hugs!

I worked at Disneyland as a youngster, ultimately met and married my dear hubby…this is just a shade over the top, even for Disney.

I am torn on this one. On one hand I would love this for my kids and their friends because they would get so much enjoyment out of it and it would get them off the computers and games so much. On the other hand I would miss having flowers gardens and beautiful landscaping to look at. I love lots of flowers and seating areas outside. Can’t decide if cool or fool on this one.
I’d have to say cool because I would love spending my summers there, but you’d have to be a fool for spending that much money on your backyard. Ha Ha! I don’t even want to know what their expenses are to maintain that.

I would have to say only COOL if this was one of your homes, not the only one! Great fun in the summer, but for the other seasons a little over the top. I would miss grass, roses and the calming nature of a garden. But, it really is a summer paradise, and you would probably never want for guests. Lidy

COOL COOL COOL. The people that own it do give to charity. Children have grand-children. And forget the kids. My husband and I would have endless fun in this. I grew up going to Disneyland and want it in my yard. For those of you who want gardens, add that in too. Doesn’t Disney? I think it’s ok to take some business away from Disneyland and stay home once in awhile. I think I’d make it changeable so it didn’t get boring. Like make a fake storm happen so that rocks moved around or changed the slide. ENJOY people. Life is short.
