This weekend our family drove around and got a good look at all the Christmas decorations around our town. It’s really astonishing to see what Christmas decorating ideas people come up with. One home we visited had homemade outdoor decorations featuring many different characters like Santa and also children’s storybook characters. These people are extremely talented to create what looks like a museum of Christmas decorations. So talented, in fact, that many people around town visit their front yard and tour their creations.
Seeing all of people’s decorations this weekend made me want to create yet another Christmas decorating ideas post. Hope you guys enjoy and find some inspiration here.

Luciane, I am so honored to see my home amidst all this prettiness..thank you! I love the holidays and all the decorating that goes along with it..it gets pretty contagious, once you start its hard to stop! I am having fun…a lot of work but a labor of love! Enjoy the magic!
Luciane you did yourself proud with this post it’s wonderful! I need to get myself together and get some decorating going soon right now I only have some boxes sitting in a corner on the living room floor. Hey I’ve been swamped with work since September but the mad rush is almost over.
Happy Holidays!

Great findings. I get a little worried about candles around the house close to flammable material though. But really nice.
Hi Luciane! Tons of gorgeous inspiration here!
Just what I needed this morning. It’s Dec. 10th and my Christmas tree is still standing there completely naked.
I did get lots of wrapping done this weekend though-that counts for something, right?!
