God Jul! (Merry Christmas in Swedish).
God Jul! (Merry Christmas in Swedish).
Today I want to share some images I found on a Swedish website. I couldn’t understand much, but I must say that Sweden is place that I’d love to visit one day. So, for that reason and for the fact that these images are gorgeous, I am sharing this with you.
In this apartment in Stockholm lives a family of four. Before creating this beautiful place, the owners lived in a more vibrant and colorful one. Here, the colors are calming, natural and bright, giving the space a restful feeling. Every piece of furniture was carefully designed to create a beautiful and functional home for the whole family.
The owner is a believer that a discreet Christmas with elements of natural colors are just as nice as a red one. Do you agree?
Suave Christmas
Light as snow. Beautiful decor, but does it feel like Christmas to you?
All Here
Interesting choice of table. It adds some contrast to the walls and chairs. The balance is added by the dark frames.
Charming Foyer
Very inviting and stylish. I love the vintage sofa.
Kitchen
If you read my blog for a while, you know I adore tables in the kitchen, it feels cozy.
Sweet Sweden
This is for those of you that was craving some color. 🙂 Actually, today my 4-year-old daughter asked me how the farmers make the tomatoes look so red?!
Mirror
That mirror adds so much character to the office. The desk is gorgeous!
Master Bedroom
Comfortable and feminine.
The Cat on The Bed
He looks so confused, doesn’t he?
I like the idea of having the wreaths on the window and the fabric of the settee adds some interest to the master bedrroom.
Yes, this is definitely a very natural way to celebrate Christmas, with mostly of decor being made by nature itself (natural wreaths, pine cones) and pastel colors. But what I really like in this place is that you feel there’s a real family living in there. That’s how I want my house to be, lived in and loved. Besides, coming home should not feel like you’re arriving at a hotel, you want to feel at home.
Thank you for being here… our home. 🙂
