Are you being able to enjoy summer? It’s lovely here and I have to say that’s wonderful to be able to put all the sweaters and winter jackets away and wear light summer dresses. Yes, I’m welcoming summer in every possible way and I hope you are too!
A great way to enjoy summer is going away for a couple of days (or weeks, if you’re very lucky!) to a hideaway. Now imagine packing your bags and spending your summer at this whimsical beach cottage in Shanklin Old Village near Bembridge on the Isle of Wight in the UK.
Located only two hours from London, this beach cottage is just a ten minute walk from the clear waters and golden sand of the charming seafront. The cottage was created from reclaimed materials and it’s located in the middle of an enchanting garden with ocean views.

Hello everyone! I want to thank you all for your comments and kind words. You guys are the best out there, you really are!
I went to my doctor yesterday and it was great, actually, I should say that he is great! It makes a huge difference when you trust your doctor… you feel more positive and you know how to make the decisions more wisely.
So, the good news is that I won’t need a surgery, but I will have go through some procedures at the hospital that aren’t too complicated. The only thing I’m not very comfortable with is the fact I’ll need an endoscopy. We don’t have a date yet, but tomorrow morning I’ll be going to the hospital for some exams.
I don’t want to worry you guys… know this is not serious. It’s just something that have being bothering me since I was a teenager and got worse lately. I just have to take care of this, so I can be 100% again! 🙂
I’ll keep you posted, ok? And once again, thank you all for the support and sweet words.

The cottage reminds me of a trip with my mom and sister to Fredricksburg Texas. The home we rented had the same style and it was so much fun to look at the items in the home. I am relieved to know that you do not need surgery and hope your endoscopy procedure went well. Thinking of you in prayer.
