If you have read my blog for a while you know my heart beats a little faster when I see a shingle-style home, right? Does yours do the same? I think that you simply can’t beat the charm of a shingle home.
This one is no different! You see how carefully designed this home was from the stunning exterior architecture and craftsmanship found inside.
The difference between this shingle-style home from most of the ones I often post here is this one has a more modern approach. The interiors, designed by Jill Litner Kaplan Interiors, are full of life and color, which is a nice change for this kind of home. She also added a interesting mix of contemporary decor with more classic ones, making this home a well-balanced space perfect for any family to live.
Take a little break and let’s dream together!

If you could live in this house, would change anything? I ask you this because, usually, no matter how much I love a home, I always get the best parts of it, and “redecorate” other things I feel it’s not really my taste. Is there anything in this house you would do differently?
So, did you have a good weekend? Were you able to take it easy and relax?
I hope you had a fantastic time, but if you didn’t, make sure to put all of your energy towards what’s coming to you this week.
I always say that we don’t have what’s in the past. That’s gone, done. All we have is now, this moment. The more we understand this, the less we complain about things that happened and the more we’ll focus on what is happening right now.
The past is the past, and whatever happened in the past belongs to it. Everything that has been in our lives and continues to be now, had to pass through the same things we passed. They had to evolute with us to be with us where we are at this moment. What didn’t make to our present, wasn’t supposed to be here.
Letting it go of what’s not here can make you walk towards what happiness means to you at this moment of your life.
Embrace this moment, embrace today, because this is the biggest gift you have.

Hi! How are you?? I’m fine and I have really wanted to take holidays, this year we are going to Asturias, in a region of Spain where we will eat very well see us in Andalusia landscapes that are not used to see as our climate is drier than in Asturias.
As this house is wonderful, I think the only thing I would change are the chairs, do not like, lol, otherwise great and the bathrooms are wonderful.
Have a good week, dear.
xoxo

I love shingle-style homes too! The architectural details on this one are stunning. Especially the architectural solarium and the built-ins in the kids’ rooms. Gorgeous!
