This is a great kitchen. The cabinets have a clean, seamless look and it offers plenty of storage. I also like the happy blue walls! 🙂
Blue Skies
This island is practical and it has a reasonable size. Countertop is natural butcher block.
Countertop
Countertop here is soapstone. To properly take care of it, I recommend oiling your countertops to ensure that the stone will evenly darken. Soapstone is non-porous and, unlike marble and granite, does not need to be sealed.

Living Room
Look, no matter how your style is… traditional, contemporary, transitional… we’re all looking for that “inviting”, “huggable” feeling when we’re at home. This living has that! It’s cozy, soft and also very charming.

Master Bedroom
Beautiful hues can be found in this space. I especially like the blue headboard and light fixture. The dark curtains add an interesting contrast against the tan walls.

The beds were custom built by a contractor. A good contractor should be able to replicate this.

Exterior: this is a 7″ cedar siding, this is actually the back of the house. There are shutters on the front of the house.

Hi, everyone! Tuesday is already here… I just woke up, had my breakfast and got the kids ready for school. But my day is just starting… I’m working a lot lately and seeing the cottage above makes me wish I could take a minute to just get out and enjoy this sunny day.
Perhaps, I will do that after I finish my work. We all need to find balance in our lives, don’t we? And trust me, with the kids, work, house, etc, etc, etc.. I am in need of some quiet and balanced time.
My goal for today? Finding some balance by the end of the day. Let’s see if I can get there… LOL 🙂
