This time of the year has magic on its own and I am one of those people that deeply embraces Christmas and that’s why, for the entire month of December, our “Interior Design Ideas” will be more like “Christmas Decorating Ideas”. Does this work for you?
When I was growing up, Christmas was special at my home, but not very traditional and I dreamed about all the things I saw in the movies… the snow, the huge Christmas tree, Christmas decor all over the house.
Having my own family now, everything is the way I once wanted… I make sure to have a Christmas tree full of special ornaments (we choose one for each member of the family every year and others are given to us from people we love), we build our Christmas village set and almost the entire house has something that reminds you of Christmas.
It’s funny, but having my home decorated for Christmas makes me happy. I love seeing all the lights blinking, the fire in the fireplace roaring almost every evening and I really enjoy getting everything ready for the big day. I feel almost as if life gets a little better… a little more magical.

I also wait to buy some extra decorative pieces after Christmas at a very low price. I store them until the next Christmas.
