This classic white kitchen has a timeless and elegant approach. With mixed width oak floors, Carrara marble countertops and cabinets painted in a very popular crisp white paint color (“Benjamin Moore OC-22 Decorator’s White”), this kitchen was truly well thought out. In fact, I feel this entire space is perfectly balanced with character and tailored clean lines.

Classic White Kitchen
Everything comes together in perfect harmony in this kitchen, including the cozy breakfast nook.
Kitchen Faucet is “Orleans Gooseneck Two Hole Kitchen Mixer by Waterworks”.
Sink is “Universal Fireclay Farmhouse Kitchen Sink also by Waterworks”.
Windows above Sink: The two side windows are 1′-2″ wide, the middle window is 2′-11″ wide, and there are 6″ mullions in between. It is about 4′-10″ tall.
White Marble Kitchen Countertop
This kitchen is open, but it can also be private. Notice the pocket door dividing this space from the dining room.
Countetop is Carrara marble with a modified DuPont Square Edge. The counter is approx. 1 1/4″ thick.
Kitchen Pendants
Pendants above island are “Sorenson 18 Lantern by Remains Lighting”. Aren’t they gorgeous?
Wall Paint Color: “Benjamin Moore OC-95 Navajo White”.
Pantry Dimensions: 5′-2″ Wide by 7′-3″ Deep.
Kitchen Backsplash
The backsplash is random brick, random strip honed white Italian Carrara marble.
Pot Filler Faucet is by Kohler.
Smart Kitchen
A kitchen can’t only be pretty. It also has to be practical!
These cabinets were custom built by J.E.M. woodworking out of Hudson NY.
Kitchen Cabinet Paint Color
Kitchen Cabinet Paint Color is “Benjamin Moore CC-20 Decorators White”.
Hardware is from RK International and floors are oak.
Dimensions: The kitchen is: 23’ x 17’-2” The island is 6′-2″ x 4′-4″
Kitchens are such an important place in our home and many of us wish we had a kitchen that had all the trendy elements we see everywhere. The truth is kitchen renos are never cheap, but we can always try to incorporate similar ideas for less.
When I am designing kitchens for my clients I look everywhere for the best price because I know that we always want to save some money.
So, when shopping around for kitchen materials, don’t feel limited by the prices you see. Look around and contact companies. Many times you will be able to get a discount, especially if you compare prices and send them an email showing you found a better one. Also, always keep an eye for coupons and clearances.
Another big way to save money when renovating a kitchen is by doing the work yourself. Getting professional help is important so you don’t make a mistake that can cost you, but if you feel confident, do what you can ad long you know what you’re doing. You will get tired, but probably very proud of yourself!
