If you’re looking for neutral or colorful interior paint color ideas, you came to the right place. Now, let’s think a little deeper about paint color. What do you usually notice when entering a home for the first time? Is it the decor? The flooring? The lighting? Or is it perhaps the paint color? Often, we don’t look at one singular element, but instead, even before we have the chance to analyze the space, we feel it. This feeling immediately comes from the colors we see and that immediately sends messages to our brain and we respond with a “feeling” of like or dislike. After this very short period of time, the overall ambiance is then perceived and we can understand the reasons this is or isn’t a place that makes us feel comfortable.
With that said, choosing the right paint color for your home should, before anything, be about how each particular color makes you and your family feel. It’s with that thing that I decided to write this post with each picture describing the paint color used. Well, the weekend is basically here (this week went by too fast, didn’t it?) and I don’t have many plans. Thank you for your kind words. I don’t like recommending paint color before seeing the space. The “perfect” paint color will depend on the amount of natural light you get, therefore this will vary between one room/home to the other.
Having said that, one of my favorites greige paint colors are “Perfect Greige SW 6073 by Sherwin-Williams and “Mineral by Behr”, if you want something slightly warmer.

I just found your site! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the curtains, that are weaved in and out at the tops. Is that something you made?? Please tell 🙂
Also, I am having an extremely hard time choosing a paint color for our living room, I want something in the gray-blue family but I just can’t seem to find the right color. Any suggestions??

After searching along time, final a site that gives color names and company’s along with beautiful pictures. Love this site keep up the good work!!
Im a designer that has done this treatment before. They have to be custom made by your seamstress. Basically, you make a tab curtain with very long tabs (slits for the rod pocket) Then you weave another long gathered sleeve of fabric in and out like a basketweave. Its a beautiful effect! Takes a lot of fabric however and expect higher labor costs.

Thank you for the different shades of paint colors aiding in choosing a space. Please suggestions!…whole bath with travertine tiles!….. and I’m unable to make a decision on color.
