Get ready to fall in love with this beautiful ranch style home with transitional interiors with a coastal contemporary flair.
Designed by Beach Chic Design Interior Designers & Decorators, this 1962 home was once very dated and dark, but with the help of the knowledgeable designers, this place now features stylish furnishings and very bright, yet comforting, interiors.
Let’s start our week with the stress-free approach this home carries. I hope you enjoy it!
Beautiful Ranch Style Home with Transitional Interiors
The entire house has a soothing feel thanks to its white, gray, blue and beige color pallet.
Courtyard
I could spend many hours here. What a lovely courtyard!
Bricks are original to the house.
Kitchen
The kitchen is practical and uncomplicated. You can’t miss the flooring and the shiplap ceiling.
Counterstools
The countertstools are “Baker Furniture, Milling Road collection, MR-3097”.
Kitchen Paint Color
Wall color and cabinet color are “Benjamin Moore White Dove OC-17”.
Appliances
Incorporated into the wall, the ovens look sleek and dramatic. Great idea of using frames to make this space feel “fuller” and “dressed.
Countertop
Countertop is Statuary marble.
Dining Area
Lovely dining area with water and patio view.
Table is custom and flooring is reclaimed heart of pine flooring.
Sitting Area
Located just off the kitchen, this sitting area is where the homeowners relax, read the paper or drink a glass of wine at the end of day.
These are the “Arteriors Alana Ottoman Pouf”.
Living Room
With three kids at home, the interior designer was smart to choose a sofa with machine washable slipcovers.
Take a look at those lovely salvaged doors. The designer built a frame for the doors to cover an old built in opening. She used a barn door inspired latch from Home Depot, which allowed flexibility as the doors were very warped.
Fireplace
I find refreshing to see fireplaces decorated to add interest and color to a room. This is particularly doable during the warm month of the year.
Media Station
This is a great spot to have the kids to do their homework or to use the computer. It’s open and it offers lovely views of the canal.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom feels very transitional with white-washed floors, traditional furniture, Moroccan-inspired lighting and a very unique grasscloth wall treatment.
The designer created this by using Phillip Jeffries glam grass wallpaper, wrapping it around 1×8 boards. Isn’t it a fun idea?
Closer Look
The Moroccan-inspired pendant is the “Arteriors Osgood Iron Pendant”.
Furniture
The night stand is a Baker Furniture piece.
Armoire
A handsome armoire adds extra storage space to the bedroom and hides the TV.
Bathroom
Marble and clean lines give this bathroom a sophisticated look. I also love the coastal art.
Vanity
The vanity in this bathroom feels just like a piece of furniture. I love the contrast of the dark wood with the white marble.
Little Girl’s Bedroom
The wall treatment in this bedroom are panels cut out of MdF and painted. They come in 39″x39″ sections.
Bunk Room
This is yet another room of the house that feels uncomplicated and works really well.
Sconces are from “Home Depot”.
Shared Bedroom
Don’t you love this bedroom? The stripe walls give an extra charm and interest to the space.
Paint Colors: “Benjamin Moore Horizon” in semigloss and “Benjamin Moore White Dove” in flat.
Quilts and lighting are from “Serena & Lilly”.
Backyard
This patio serves as an addition room with extra seating, dining area and plenty of style.
Now, take a look at that pool… can you picture yourself swimming here in a summer night?
What a great, happy family home this is! I hope you enjoyed it as well.
So, did you have a good weekend? Mine was great! Our little one is turning three today and I couldn’t think about anything else but this day. We all know how Blessed we are for having him in our lives and I am so grateful to God for it.
We prepared a sweet party for him with lots of “Minions” and “Thomas & Friends” surprises. He’s in that phase that “Thomas” is the best thing in the world. 🙂
Now, I’ll try to take it easy during this week, work on a design I have started and also driving the kids to hockey, but not much more than that. Thanksgiving is here and I want to get ready for that… can’t wait for our Thanksgiving dinner! 🙂
Oh, what a fun week we have ahead of us! Enjoy every minute of it, my friends.
Big hugs to you all!
with Love,

Hello Beth.
I am not sure where the designer purchased these or if they’re custom. Please, feel free to contact the designer for more information.
Thank you.
