Being one of my favorites magazines, I am always anxiously waiting for whenever Coastal Living announces their new Coastal Living Showhouse each year and I am happy to share today this stunning beach house located in Coronado, California.
Built by Flagg Coastal Homes, this is the magazine’s first Showhouse in California. Burnham Design of Los Angeles is the selected interior designer for the latest Showhouse and San Diego-based Topia Land is the landscape architect. This five bedroom oceanfront home is located in Sunset Park on Coronado Island and offers sunny rooms with intriguing architectural details, porches and dreamy ocean views.
With a unique reverse floor plan, where the bedrooms are on the ground floor and the main spaces are on the floor up, the designers were able to keep the vaulted ceilings, more natural light, and better views of the water.

Today I am staying home with the kids because they are having another snow day due the huge snow storm we got last night. This winter is being really bad for snow storms this year and I woke up today thinking of how wonderful would it be to get in a plane and get out of here… don’t get me wrong, I love the East Coast but my heart is still in Vancouver…
How about you? Do you live where your heart is? 🙂

This home is wonderful 🙂 I have to admit, it’s not often that I read your details re paint colours etc (because I’m in Australia) but this time I did – I read all your notes. I’ve pinned a lot of the pictures too. Something about this home speaks to me 🙂 Sorry you’ve had such a snow-stormy winter – hope it clears up soon. Blessings and summery greetings from Melbourne 😀
Where are the house plans for this home with the room layouts?
Hi Will

Have a great day!

I was able to see this home in person and it was truly amazing! Thanks for sharing the information. Getting lots of ideas for my new beach house from anywhere I can and articles like this really help. Happy Thanksgiving!
