This beach house was beautifully designed by Brandon Architects, Inc. and built by Patterson Custom Homes. The home has a nice traditional feel on the outside while keeping with a more beachy and contemporary floor plan consistent with the beach community it resides in. The home has some special features including a wine room underneath the stairs, a private courtyard opening onto the kitchen and a roof deck with views of the ocean.
Relaxed California Beach House with Coastal Interiors 
This 3-story family home has approximately 3,505 s.f. of living space.
Outdoor space is at a premium when you build on a small lot. Having this custom outdoor sitting area allows the homeowners to enjoy some sunshine and use every space possible.
Kitchen
If you’re trying to bring a coastal feel to your kitchen, you should think about adding crisp white colors on the cabinets and light plank hardwood flooring. This immediately adds a coastal and airy feel to any kitchen.

Isn’t this a great place to entertain? It’s easy to spend more time outdoors when you have comfortable outdoor furniture and cozy decor.
Home Office
The home office has a transitional approach. It’s uncomplicated and uncluttered.
Laundry Room Tiling
The backsplash tiling is a bead board tile that was purchased from Concept Studio in Corona Del Mar, CA.
Flooring is 6×6 white thassos marble and fontenay clair limestone. Timeless!
Power Room
This cozy power room has great flooring and a practical vanity. Notice the art.
Staircase
A brilliantly designed wine cellar is located under the staircase.

Floors are engineered Oak flooring, which seems to be 8″ planks.
Horizontal Tongue and Groove Wall Paneling
Coastal influences such as horizontal tongue & groove wall paneling can be found in many rooms of this beach house.
Bathroom
This bathroom features a custom rustic vanity. Countertop is Fontney Claire Limestone. Natural Finish.
Master Bedroom
What a wonderful master bedroom! I am loving the neutral wall color and the subtle addition of soft blues.
Master Bathroom
Paint Color in the master bathroom is once again “Dunn-Edwards Swiss Coffee DEW341”.
Bathroom Flooring
Flooring in the master bedroom is Fontney Claire Limestone.
Bathroom Decor
Adding natural flowers to a bathroom makes it feel fresh and more inviting. Add your favorite flower so you can enjoy it when taking a bath — you deserve this special touch!
Stool is by bathtub is the “Modern Coastal Beach Glossy White Treillage Garden Seat Stool”.

The roof deck offers privacy and ocean views.

This house is so beautifully decorated, maintaining a lovely beachy feel without becoming too cutesy cute. Simply elegant and very family inviting.
You bet I watched the Oscars! I loved Reese Witherspoon’s black and, apparently, light, baby blue dress (it looked white on the screen). And I thought Lupita Nyong’o was gorgeous in her pearl dress and don’t think any other actress could have looked as beautiful in it. And I thought the Dior dress worn by Marion Cotillard was so classic and elegant. Gorgeous on her!
My favorite moments of the evening were the speech by Eddie Redmayne regarding ALS: Lady Gaga showing her amazing abilities singing the songs from The Sound Of Music, and of course both Julianne Moore’s speech about accepting people with Alzheimer’s Disease out in the open and the last song written by Glen Campbell and sung by Tim McGraw. Very touching, beautiful and meaningful moments!
