This circa 1915 cottage features a sophisticated style that combines classical vintage details with tasteful modern design. The boutique vintage character of this two bedroom cottage has been preserved and substantial improvements, including a new foundation, were made recently to allow for future expansion of an additional bedroom and bath.
Ideal for a weekend getaway, the intimate interiors of this single level cottage feature high ceilings, brush painted plank floors, soft colors and a comfortable floor plan with open living room, dining area and a charming free-standing gas stove in the small all-white kitchen.

Welcome to the Cottage
I honestly fell in love with the simplicity of these interiors. Everything feels calm and completely relaxed.
The living room, like the rest of the cottage, features white beadboard walls and ceiling and also white painted plank floors.
Coastal Flair
To add a touch of color, blue and white, and pale grays play beautifully against the soothing palette.
Notice the reclaimed window shutters, the wicker furniture and decor.
Lighting
The lighting are the Goodman Cone Pendants in white.
Dining Room
This dining room is just adorable! I am loving the white table and chairs, but I would be tempted to replace them with pale turquoise slipcovered chairs… can you picture that? The cabinet is stunning. I love the idea of painting the back of the cabinet in gray, but that TV could find a better spot.

Open Space
With only two bedrooms, this cottage is perfect for a getaway or for someone looking to downsize. You can clean this entire place in 10 minutes! I would love that! 🙂
Although, this is a small cottage, notice how connected the spaces feel to the each other.
Cottage Kitchen
I couldn’t resist and I shared this kitchen on Instagram last night as I was preparing this post. I absolutely love this space! It almost feels like a doll house. 🙂
Small Kitchen Design
Small kitchens can feel claustrophobic. You can eliminate this feeling by removing the upper cabinets on at least one wall of the kitchen and adding floating shelves. This will create a more airy feel to your small kitchen.

The interiors of this cottage were painted with Benjamin Moore White Dove.
Master Bedroom
This bedroom is small but it shares so much inspiration! I am loving the white and blue decor, the beadboard walls and ceiling and not to mention that bed and rug!

Canopy Bed
Don’t be afraid of using a canopy bed in a small bedroom. Keep everything light, including the bedding for a calm and spacious feel.

Dreamy Backyard
While looking for cottages to share with you, I also found this property for sale in Healdsburg. Although the house is not a cottage (and I couldn’t share it here), I fell in love with the backyard and I had to show it to you. This backyard has its own “Romantic Shed”!
