The serene and welcoming kitchen has a big gray island, plenty of cabinets and a gorgeous eating area that opens to a large deck. Rhode Island Beach Cottage with Coastal Interiors
Isn’t it a great way to enter a home? What a welcoming and tailored space! A turquoise front door with beadboard panels open to a spacious foyer with sloped ceiling and a stairway with striped runner. A gray wash round entry table with tall vases and a gray diamond pattern rug completes the look.
The wall paint color is Benjamin Moore Gray Owl.
Kitchen
This stunning kitchen feels open and inviting. I love the large gray kitchen island and the natural light this room receives.
Home Sweet Home
Three glass pendants illuminates a gray kitchen island topped with white marble lined with turquoise blue counters tools with rush seats. Notice the floor-to-ceiling windows and doors. I love how spacious this kitchen feels.

Mudroom with Turquoise Door
The mudroom features a wall of floor-to-ceiling built-in mudroom cabinets. The cabinet features a mudroom bench with drawers under overhead shelves. This space also boasts a white and blue striped runner placed in front of a turquoise door. Isn’t this a perfect mudroom?

I had a wonderful day… cooked a homemade dinner that reminded me of home. How I miss my grandmother’s food. She loved to cook and did it with love… you could see by the way she cooked and by the way her food tasted.
So, today I was completely inspired and I took the afternoon to be in the kitchen. My almost 4 y/0 was with me and said he hopes to cook for me someday. It was the sweetest thing ever.
As you probably know, life is never perfect. We love seeing all the beautiful homes and so many times we see all the beautiful people living in them and we imagine all of them having the most perfect life. The truth is, life has its ups and downs for everyone. The only thing that can make life “perfect” for a moment, is true love.
Cooking with my little one and hearing that from him made my day… a simple and truthful gesture made me feel loved and cared, and aren’t these two the best feelings you can have?
Gather the moments you’ve felt loved. Put them in a special place in your heart and you will find yourself appreciating your life and the people around you more.
