As you will see here, Christmas this year is becoming a little more country. I see a lot of farmhouse influences and a lot of natural Christmas decor with a hint of rustic. Classic colors such as red and green are making their comeback and replacing the coastal blues. This Christmas is, without doubt, mostly about making the interiors feel cozier, more welcoming and less fussy.

What is the source for the top photo? It is so pretty–reminds me of Maggie Smith’s home on Downton Abbey! Of course that is a grand estate in England, designed by Christopher Wren if I remember correctly.
