The home is a custom build with an open floor plan and a transitional style. The homeowners had different styles and hired Restyle Design, LLC. to try to bring their different design style together into a cohesive look. She wanted white and bright, with lots of painted finishes and greys while he wanted a more “Colorado style” with stained woods and more brown tones. The owner/designer for Restyle Design, LLC., Susan Kosonocky, mixed the two by doing stained doors and beams for him and white painted baseboards and trim for her! They anchored all of the design choices with a rich dark stained wood floor.
These homeowners also wanted to have a casual yet elegant space that would work for everyday and for entertaining. The designers worked with the 10 foot ceiling by emphasizing it with white and plenty of crown molding. The result is a warm home where both styles, his and hers, can coexist in harmony.
Tufted upholstered bench by Classic Home Furnishings and contemporary artwork by Paragon create impact in this entry. Cable knit pillows by Villa Home.
This oversized contemporary art by Uttermost adds color and drama to this entry. Rug is by Loloi, lantern is by Currey and Company and lamp is by Uttermost.
Wall color on the whole main floor is Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter.
Lighting is Currey and Company Cosette Lantern.
This kitchen is timeless with white cabinetry, dark quartz countertops and marble backsplash. Wall paint color is Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore.
Island features a white quartz countertop – Caesarstone Misty Carrera.
Glass pendants are Everly 1 Light Pendant by Kichler Lighting in Brushed Nickel with seeded glass. – $150 each.
The kitchen cabinet paint color is Benjamin Moore White Dove. Cabinets are custom made. The perimeter cabinets are a modified shaker style with a slight edge detail.
All cabinets go to 8 1/2’ height.
Backsplash color is Manhattan, Stackstone polished Mosaic Marble. The back of frame above the stove is Mini Hexagon Marble; China White polished.
This kitchen feels big yet easy to work within the space.
Kitchen runner is by Loloi.
Island is stained in a dark finish.
The dark countertop is quartz.
The cabinets feature brushed nickel hardware.
The brushed nickel kitchen faucet is by Delta.
Counterstools are GABBY.
The kitchen opens to a dining area.
Kitchen island dimensions – 4’3” x 9’9”. Notice the butler’s pantry on the left.
This butler’s pantry has an elegant feel with black walnut stained cabinetry, marble backsplash, and stainless hardware.
Butler’s pantry and island are a raised panel cabinet.
Ceiling & Wall Treatment: Ceilings are flat drywall finish and walls are a slight hand trowel finish.
This dining room is so elegant and comfortable at the same time!
Rug is by Classic Home Furnishings, sideboard, mirror and hurricane are by Uttermost.
Rustic wood and metal dining table is by Noir furniture and the upholstered chairs, in natural linen, are by Gabby Home.
The antique gold chandelier is by Currey and Company – Maximus Chandelier.
This great room is inviting and comfortable, yet elegant. The console table, with bluestone top, is by Classic Home Furnishings and window coverings are in a Kravet fabric.
Lighting is Minka Lavery.
The living room also features a corner stone fireplace with Black Walnut mantel. Isn’t it beautiful?
A sectional in linen by Lee Industries anchors the space.
Pillows are Classic Home Furnishings.
