These clients needed a functional layout to incorporate a new mudroom, powder room and laundry space connecting to garage and kitchen. The existing kitchen layout was changed and updated to fit the lifestyle of the family of 5. Balancing existing architectural feature with new custom cabinetry and timeless finishes, the new spaces feature a industrial-farmhouse style that’s still bright and cozy. I love how original and timeless this entire home feels, including this kitchen with industrial-farmhouse influences. The grey cabinet paint color is Sherwin Williams SW 7674 Peppercorn.
Walls & trim paint color throughout the house: Sherwin Williams Repose Gray (walls) and Sherwin Williams Alabaster (trim).
The kitchen chandelier is from Pottery Barn – Armonk 6-arm indoor/outdoor chandelier.
The kitchen countertop is poured and sealed concrete, no color added. Work was done by “Origins Concrete Design” of Ferndale, MI.

Appliances are Kitchen Aid and GE.
The custom zinc hood brings this kitchen to the next level, doesn’t it?! Stained wood trim and corbels add warmth to the metal kitchen hood.
The perimeter countertop is Vicostone Quartz surfaces, color Graphite-BS124.
Kitchen Backsplash: 3″x6″ Carrara marble.
Cabinet Hardware: Restoration Hardware.
The kitchen also features a virtually undestroyable farmhouse sink made of sealed concrete. It looks really beautiful with the quartz countertop – two very durable options!
The pantry doors are custom wood doors that the designers had painted on site. You can find this door style at most local hardware stores such as Home Depot.
What a beautiful powder room! The wallpaper softens the industrial-farmhouse style of this space. The lighting and vanity are from Restoration Hardware.

Powder Room Wallpaper: Metallic grasscloth wallpaper, topiary pattern in custom color shadow+ivory, by The Detroit Wallpaper Co.
Green cabinets are very trendy right now and this is a hue that I wouldn’t get tired of. Paint color is Benjamin Moore 452 Norway Spruce.
The countertop is poured and sealed concrete, no color added. The concrete countertop is durable and perfect for ironing.

Pendant is from Joss & Main.
How great is this farmhouse mudroom?! I love the distressed cabinets and the terracotta brick flooring.
