Designed by Rebecca Van’t Hull, Senior Designer at Martha O’Hara Interiors, this lake house was designed as a weekend/summer home and it’s located on the West Arm Bay of Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota.
The lake house is styled to be a So-Cal inspired getaway home and features bold colors, like Bunker Hill Green by Benjamin Moore, kitchen cabinets that homeowners might otherwise shy away from for an everyday kitchen. Because this was a beach getaway, the homeowners wanted to maximize each room for entertaining. This is especially evident in the home’s many beds. There are 10 bunks and 2 trundles downstairs, 3 upstairs bedrooms that sleep 3 each (twin over full bunk beds in each room); and a master suite with a gorgeous king bed. If you do the math, this home sleeps 23 total!

Why not be a little more adventures with a dream vacation home? This spacious kitchen features a practical layout; perfect for entertaining, green cabinets and to a white subway tile backsplash. The green kitchen cabinet paint color is Benjamin Moore 566 Bunker Hill Green.
The perimeter and the kitchen island countertop is Italian White Carrara Marble.

Over the kitchen island is a 30 x 25” Natural and Gold finished Chandelier made from woven coco beads – Made Goods Patricia Chandelier – $2,750.00
This beautiful kitchen features stacked shaker style cabinets. The backsplash is Bianco Matte Subway tile.
Kitchen cabinet hardware are Millennium Pull in a satin brass finish; and Manhattan Knob in satin brass finish.
Kitchen faucet is polished nickel Cassidy pull-down by Delta.
Farmhouse sink is Rohl.
Floor is wire brushed white oak.
The top of the adjoining table was created from reclaimed wood from a homesite in Edina, MN. It is wire brushed in white oak.
Wall paint color (throughout the house) is Benjamin Moore OC-23 Classic Gray.
Ceiling, Millwork, Doors Paint Color: Sherwin Williams Snowbound.

I love this space! The powder bath features the “Katie Sconce” in a hand rubbed antique brass finish and a distressed cabinet painted in Benjamin Moore Pike’s Peak Gray 2127-50.
This farmhouse-inspired master bedroom is full of fresh ideas! I am loving the wire brushed white oak ceiling. Wall paint color is Sherwin Williams SW 7004 Snowbound.
Ceilinf fan is by Dia Fans.
Master has a custom tufted Buffalo Check king bed inspired by Anthropologie.
The black and white buffalo check pattern is from Clarke and Clarke.
This space feels very serene. Wall color is Sherwin Williams SW 7004 Snowbound.
The master tub features a Barclay faucet with elephant spout in polished nickel from Ferguson Enterprises.
A gorgeous teal runner brings some color to this white bathroom. Teal bathroom runner is by Fay + Belle.
The master bathroom tile is Embarcadero Porcelain from Tile X Design.
Hardware is a Royale Knob in a polished chrome finish.
Lighting is a gilded plaster finish sconce – Fontaine Double Sconce in Gilded Plaster – $620
The gray cabinet paint Color is Sherwin Williams Tin Lizzie. The textured wallcover is by Kravet.
Bathroom floor tile is Bright Grey Penny Rounds from Tile x Design.
Isn’t this bathroom adorable? The wallcovering is Kate Spade Confetti Dot and the blush paint color is Benjamin Moore Crossroads 1226.
This guest bedroom becomes more practical with a store-bought bunk bed. The space also features two custom chairs in Kate Spade fabric. Aren’t they beautiful?!
Blue and red in a fresh way! The blue and white striped wallpaper is by Kate Spade.
Benjamin Moore Red Paint Colors: Benjamin Moore Holly Berry 1321.
The lower level bunk room sleeps 12! Floors are concrete, which is easy to clean and there’s no worries with wet feet or sand from the beach outside.
Each bunk has its own hand aged brass sconce and charging station. How cool is that? 🙂
Some of the bunks also feature trundles. Bedding is from Pine Cone Hill.
Wall color is BM Classic Gray.
This farmhouse bathroom features 3 sconces – Bookclub Swing-Arm Sconce with Hiroshi Gray/Silver undefined. Paint color is Sherwin Williams SW 9163 Tin Lizzie.
Wall color is Benjamin Moore Light Pewter 1464 and cabinets are Sherwin Williams SW 7004 Snowbound.
