I always get emails from readers struggling to choose the right paint colors for their interiors and as an interior designer and blogger I can say that I see paint colors on a daily basis and know them quite well and that’s why I always try to share as many paint colors I can in each post.
This particular family home, designed by Mike Schaap Builders and Benchmark Design Studio, got my attention for its classic color scheme. As you will see here, all of the spaces have a quiet and nice flow, attributing for the comfortable and inviting feel of the entire home.

Siding paint color is Benjamin Moore HC-167 Amherst Gray. The exterior trim paint color is Benjamin Moore Baby Fawn OC-15.
Stone: Black River Ashlar by The Stone Mill.
Roof: Certainteed – weathered wood.
Featuring grey cabinets and a neutral wall color, this kitchen feels timeless and warm. This is a great alternative to white kitchens. Paint color is Benjamin Moore HC-168 Chelsea Gray.
The kitchen hood features a faux finish to look like copper.
The kitchen countertop is White Macaubas quartzite. It looks incredible with the dark stained island.
Kitchen Sink: Copper.
Kitchen Island: White Oak stained in a custom dark color.
Wood Floor: White Oak, custom stain from Urban Plank.

The wall paint color is Benjamin Moore HC-172 Revere Pewter.
The kitchen hutch cabinet, also painted in Benjamin Moore Chelsea Gray, features seeded glass and chicken wire cabinet doors.
The view from the dining room to the family room and foyer. Notice the cabinet layout in this kitchen.
The stone used on this two-sided fireplace is Black River Ashlar.

Countertop & Backsplash: White Macaubas quartzite.

I love the combination of open shelves and cabinet doors in this pantry. The cabinet paint color is Chelsea Gray HC-168 Benjamin Moore.
This powder room features a grey wallpaper, hardwood floors and a metallic grey vanity topped with white quartzite countertop.
Lighting is Quoizel Soho 13.5-in Polished Nickel Industrial Multi-Light Clear Glass Bowl Pendant.
Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter truly is one of the best neutral paint colors you can find.

What a fantastic bathroom layout! Tub is Pen-New “The Newminster 68” Cast Iron French Bateau Bath Tub.
Soft Gray Paint Color: Benjamin Moore 2133-60 Sidewalk Grey.
Kendall Charcoal by Benjamin Moore is a deep grey that works great as cabinet paint color. Walls are Benjamin Moore Sidewalk Grey.
Distressed Barn Door: An old door, painted in Benjamin Moore HC-166 Kendall Charcoal, was distressed and hung as a sliding door to conceal the laundry room.
The mudroom features a very smartly designed built-in desk with key and file storage and message board on side of cabinet. This idea deserves to be saved!!!
Basement Paint Color: Walls are Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter and the tray ceiling is Benjamin Moore Kendall Charcoal.
Lighting is Quoizel.
The wet bar cabinet paint color is also Benjamin Moore Kendall Charcoal.
