Hello, my wonderful friends! It’s great to end this week with all of you here and it’s a pleasure to share this bright and cheerful home on the blog.
Recently built by Barrow Building Group (previously featured here & here) and with interior design by Interiors by Herlong , this home Lowcountry-style home is full of great exterior and interior ideas! The homeowners wanted to start fresh with all new furnishings in this new construction project. Practicality and style had to work together for this family with 2 young boys under 6, so the interior designer added performance fabrics, forgiving finishes, and durable wood furniture. Contemporary and clean shapes are found in the furniture lines throughout and help distinguish the home’s style as elevated, contemporary and collected but also family friendly.

This bright dining room features wooden French doors that open to the front porch. I love how airy and peaceful this space feels… nothing feels heavy nor stuffy in here.
