Hello, my dear friends! I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend and are being able to relax and unwind. It’s cold where we live, and to be very honest it feels as if spring is not interested in coming around anytime soon, but I won’t be bothered by it. The weather changes and so does my decor. In fact, I can’t wait to be able to open all of the windows and let the fresh air in and hear the birds chirping in the trees. For that, I am already planning on doing a big spring cleaning and that includes not only cleaning my house and donating what we no longer use, but also lightly redecorating the main spaces of our home.
I like to replace all the heavy, wintry decor such as rugs, pillows and bedding to lighter and fresher (and happier!) ones. It’s time to retire the shaggy rugs, the faux fur pillows (& furniture), the heavy draperies and let all spaces breathe.
