As the colder months approach, rustic interiors start to appear on many interior design blogs, magazines and, of course, on Instagram. Designed by Four Chairs Furniture, this rustic cabin is inspirational not only if you’re lucky enough to plan on having a ski lodge, but also if you’re planning on adding a rustic feel to your home.
Looking at this place, it’s hard to believe that this project started from just an empty lot. Here, you will find a home with character and warmth that is perfectly balanced with plenty of textures and layers.

Island is 3’x5’.
The kitchen opens to a dining room with large farmhouse dining table, blue rug and a combination of leather host chairs and metal side chairs.
All furniture came from Four Chairs Furniture.
Ceiling are all made from reclaimed barn wood. The designer did not paint any of them, they were left in their natural state.
One of the really interesting things about this cabin is that all of the interior wood came from a barn in Idaho and the designer used it throughout the entire house. Here, you can see the beautiful beams accentuating the cathedral ceilings and also being used on the rustic staircase.
Walls are painted in Farrow and Ball “All White”.
Reclaimed wood was also used to create the bunk beds. I love this rustic look!
The bathroom cabinet was custom built and features a carrerra marble countertop.
