Barbie is pure nostalgia and judging by how popular the new Barbie movie is becoming, I think we all missed the Barbie World more than we were aware of!

When it comes to Barbie Dreamhouse home decor found in the new movie, the production designer Sarah Greenwood and set decorator Katie Spencer, were inspired by Palm Springs midcentury modernism. It was the movie with its iconic interior design that really inspired me to create and share this post with you today.

Here you will find many Barbie Dreamhouse-inspired home decor – such as Barbie’s curved pink sofa and her swivel mid-century modern dining chair – mixed with a hint of coastal flair and, of course, plenty of colorful and glittery pool floats to add more fun to our life. Have fun! 🌸
