Can you imagine yourself living in a big city, with all the noise and pollution and suddenly having the opportunity to leave everything behind and move to a house on a quiet street with water views?
The sleepy town of Grandview-on-Hudson is a little more than a narrow strip of homes nestled deep in the Hudson Valley between the high hills of the Palisades and the Hudson River’s western bank. Walking down the footpath from River Road and entering the front door of this beach house with subtle blue and white interiors feels much like stepping onto a dock and boarding a ship. Upon entering, your eyes are met with huge bay windows filled from edge to edge with the deep blue of the river and the sky above, interrupted only by the sails and mast of the occasional passing ship and the thin green sliver of the distant shore, three miles to the east. As unique as the location and house itself is, so is the lovely family who had recently relocated there from Brooklyn. According to the designer, Chango & Co., the clients had such an intimate knowledge and deep admiration of their work and knew exactly what they wanted… a peaceful place where they finally could feel at home.

Do you know the paint color of the bedroom walls and/or the fabric color of the bed?
Do you have a link for the wallpaper in the bathroom? I know it mentions F. Schumacher & Co., but I’m having a hard time finding that exact one.
