Designed by Main Street Kitchens at Botellos, this elegant and sophisticated kitchen on the ocean in New Seabury, MA on Cape Cod feature cabinets in Benjamin Moore OC-52 Gray Owl, in a flat panel inset door and countertops made of Victoria Falls Honed Quartzite. Floors are a white oak with a custom gray stain.

Benjamin Moore Gray Owl Kitchen with Quartzite Countertop

This welcoming and approachable kitchen feature flat panel inset door cabinets painted in Benjamin Moore OC-52 Gray Owl. This is really a wonderful grey color for cabinets and I’ve recommend it to my own clients many times. You really can’t go wrong with it!

Kitchen

Well-designed kitchens are well laid out for maximum efficiency and flow. They should also feel inviting and have plenty of functional storage. A coastal feel can be found in this kitchen through the choices of color, cabinetry door style, finishes and lighting.

Since this kitchen has no pantry, the designers took advantage of the 10′ ceilings and stacked smaller cabinets above the first row of cabinets.

Countertop

Victoria Falls Quartzite Honed was selected in this kitchen for the counter surfaces. Note how the counters reflect the color of sand.

Kitchen Island

This island layout is really great! The kitchen island features plenty of storage, a farmhouse sink, dishwasher and microwave. Lighting is Malplaquet from Urban Electric.

Flooring is 3 1/4 to 5-inch Select White Oak with custom gray stain.

Layout

Kitchen Layout: Fundamental to the design of any kitchen is a fluid layout. The “kitchen triangle” enables easy movement between the major work stations, the sink, stove and refrigerator,” says George Tobey, who has been designing kitchens at Botellos for more than 20 years. “The more closely these three are linked, the easier it is to work in the space.” In this case, the kitchen is situated in the center of the house. Although it has no window, the family still enjoys expansive views from the sink, positioned to overlook the living area and ocean beyond, while providing ample workspace and easy access to the refrigerator and stove”.

Master Bathroom

The master bathroom features carrara marble countertop, subway tile half wall wainscotting and marble mosaic floor tile.

Paint Color

Paint color is Revere Pewter HC 172 by Benjamin Moore.

Bathroom Wall Tile

Benjamin Moore Pale Oak OC-20. Benjamin Moore Pale Oak OC-20 Soft Gray Paint Color. This bathroom features a light gray cabinet painted in Benjamin Moore Pale Oak OC-20. This guest bathroom features a light gray cabinet painted in a custom color, similar to Benjamin Moore Pale Oak OC-20. The taupe wall tile has been discontinued but it’s similar to Davenport Field Tile from Ann Sacks.

Countertop is Calcutta gold marble and flooring is Calcutta gold marble herringbone basket weave tile.
