Hello, my wonderful friends! How are you today? I want to start this house tour by thanking you for your visit to the blog. If this is your first time on Home Bunch or if you’ve read the blog for years, I want you to know how grateful I am for your support and I also want you to know that my main goal is to provide you a peaceful and happy place for you to visit. Yes, I work hard to share each and every detail for each home I feature here, but this blog is more than information; it’s a place of comfort. So grab yourself a mug of something warm and have a really good time!
In ten years of blogging I have learned that there are houses and then there are homes. The difference between the two is their energy. You can easily fall in love with a house for how it’s decorated, for how spacious the rooms seem to be, but at the end of the day you want to live in a place that embraces you, that makes you feel safe.
It’s not everyone that understands our passion for homes and interior design. Some might even think it’s a superfluous hobby, but I strongly disagree with that. I feel that we’re taking care of ourselves and our family when we take care of our home and that obviously doesn’t mean that we must have the trendiest styles. It means to have a tidy home with less clutter, comfortable pieces of furniture, a soft rug under our feet, colors on walls and artwork that make us feel calmer, crisp linens on our beds. Making the best of what we have will always keep improving our life style and the way we feel about our lives.
Designed by Carrington Hill Designs, this California Farmhouse with Board and Batten exterior features a peaceful vibe from the moment you look at it. Surrounded by trees and native plants, this is the kind of home that seems to belong to its location. The interiors carry the same calm and serene energy. Traditional elements bring some elegance without being showy nor too precious.
This is a home that will stand the test of time and allow the homeowners to unfold a life of beautiful memories… I hope you enjoy this tour!
