This custom double vanity measures 5′ – 8 1/2″ wide.

The floor tile is the Hampton Carrara Polished Hex 2” from The Tile Shop – similar here.
The bathroom gray wallpaper is by Sherwin Williams. It is from the Come Home to People’s Choice, Black & White Collection #491-2670.
Mud Room Paint Color
The mud room paint color is Benjamin Moore HC-170 Stonington Gray. The cabinets are also Ben Moore, in Simply White OC-117.
Exterior Paint Color
The gray exterior is James Hardie lap siding in Aged Pewter.

Isn’t this place great? I’m not in a time in my life where I can downsize just yet but if I ever do, this is the kind of home I can see myself living at. I love seeing big homes but you want to live in a place where you feel embraced by it and not lost in it.
And talking about “embracing”, I’m embracing our cold temperatures today, putting on my skates and going out to play hockey with my husband and my 4 y/o son. Oh, God… I finished this sentence and I started laughing… me, playing hockey? I can barely skate! Regardless of my lack of knowledge on the sport, I do get out there and play with my kid… and we always have a blast, especially when I fall… that’s always Matthew’s favorite part! 🙂
What are your plans for today? Can I give you a small advice? Live this day! Don’t wait until your day off arrives to do something you enjoy. We all have responsibilities but life gets too bland if we only focus on them.
Do something that makes you smile. Better yet, do something that makes you laugh!
