Designed and styled by Jenna Reading and Amanda Downs of South Main Design, this neutral home features plenty of inspiring interior design ideas. Here, the designers share all details on the making of this new abode.
“Our project in Newtown, Pennsylvania was a brand new construction from the ground up. However, this project was very unique because it is in the cutest historic town in eastern PA. In this particular town, many homes right in the Boro are being sold, torn down and replaced with gorgeous new homes. This is exactly what happened here when old friends collaborated; one of whom happened to be the builder, bought a property and convinced his long-time pal to build! We (Jenna Reading and Amanda Downs of South Main Design) were brought in at the very beginning to review plans and oversee all design decisions as well as tackle furnishings! After living in many different styles and sizes of homes, our client’s main goal was to build an open, cozy, modern farmhouse that was just big enough to host the grandkids for holidays!”
