Have you ever dreamed of living in a calm place, surrounded by nature and a lake? This shingle style lake house is the kind of house that makes you feel you’re worlds away from all the noise of the city, all the pollution and traffic. All you have around are trees, water and fresh air.
Designed by interior designer Linda McDougald Design and built by Gabriel Builders,, this lake house has almost 6.000 sq ft, four bedrooms, four full bathrooms and two half bathrooms and plenty of space for family living and entertaining.

How are you doing today? Did you have enough time to relax during the weekend? I feel that there’s never enough time to do all I have to do during the weekends and I rarely find time to actually relax. But I have to say this weekend was great. I had time to redesigned my kids rooms (they’re growing and certain things had to go) and I also started planning my son’s 8th birthday that will be on Tuesday. I can’t wait for that!
So, I’m excited for this week… I know it will be a special one! I hope you feel the same about yours… embrace every moment of it!

So pretty! The interior is so elegant… not what I was expecting for a lake house. Love the porch.
Beautiful home!
Breathtaking..another winner! I love the setting and the color palette is simply stunning, sooo well done. So happy you had a great weekend Luciane and found some down time!
Beautiful home! Love the architectural details and the lake side setting.
There are some very beautiful aspects to this all white and beige home.
Now that’s a lake house, Luciane. Just love the neutral color palette and the bookcase in the living room is wonderful. I would live on the porch with that amazing view…stunning!
Beautiful, but not very homey….as you would expect a lake house to be. And the exterior exudes a cottage feel, but the inside is not very warm & inviting. Architectural detail is gorgeous, but the interior design is a little cold for me.
Love this house, so elegant and beautiful 🙂
Can you please tell me whether you know where are the side table and the console table from?
Appreciate your help,
Iris
