This kitchen layout is perfect! I love the large island and the amount of workspace it offers. Also, notice how much space you have with the perimeter countertop. One person can prepare meals on the kitchen island while the other can work on the perimeter counters. I think it’s smart to have several work zones in a kitchen.

Countertop and slab backsplash behing the range are leathered gray quartzite. Quartzite happens to be stronger than granite and does not stain or chip like marble.

Hi, everyone! Wednesday is here and I am not sure if you agree with me, but this week seems to be going by so fast! I have being working on a project and time seems to be flying by!
So, how’s everything with you? Are you being able to enjoy spring yet? We’re still covered with snow and there’s no sign of grass so far. I am almost giving up on spring and looking more forward to summer. I think things will look better here only around June. But as long we’re healthy and happy… the other things we learn to deal with, right? 🙂
