Be honest, when was the last time you did your laundry with a smile on your face? I can’t remember! But I am sure I would crack a wide smile every time I entered this laundry room if it was mine. How could you not, right?
Designed by one of my newest favorite interior designers, Ashley Winn from Ashley Winn Design, this coastal blue laundry room exudes calmness and great design.
A sliding barn door painted in orange invites you in to a laundry room with coastal blue shaker-style cabinets that have plenty of storage while white quartz countertops offer a durable workspace.

Coastal Blue Laundry Room Design
Although it was not confirmed by the designer, Palladian Blue by Benjamin Moore is a similar color for the cabinets. In fact, I just recommend this paint color to a client for her front door and she is loving it. Palladian Blue HC-144 by Benjamin Moore is one of my go-to coastal colors.
Landry Room Machine
The washer and dryer are Samsung Stainless Steel “Platinum” Front Load Washer and Dryer. I love its finish against the white backsplash and the floors.
Punch of Color
This laundry room is perfect! Notice the fitted L shaped corner desk lined with yellow Tolix Stools placed below the windows. This area is great for folding or crafts.
Pendant Lighting
The pendant lighting in this laundry room are “The Orbiter 10 – Brass Stem Modern Mid Century 10″ Clear Globe Pendant Light”.
Vintage Rolling Laundry Room Carts
Gorgeous laundry room with three Steele Canvas laundry carts tucked below a countertop. These cost about $100/each.
Laundry Room Floating Shelves
I love the idea of adding floating shelves and fill them with woven baskets and vintage jars. Very charming! Notice the glass globe pendant.

Beautiful, Beautiful laundry room ! I can’t get enough of this color. I bought a comforter in this color for the Master bedroom and bathtowels for the Master bath and next will be painting the Master bedroom walls this same soothing blue. Ashley Winn is a very talented designer.
