A complete reno executed by interior designer Kate Jackson from Kate Jackson Design transformed a dated kitchen into a timeless white kitchen with a navy blue island.
This coastal kitchen easily becomes more relaxed with woven pendants by Jeffrey Alan Marks and turquoise slipcovered kitchen stools from Serena and Lily. A kitchen peninsula with an apron sink comes handy when preparing food.
Take notes on the design sources such as paint color and decor. Trust me, these kitchen ideas will make your day!
There’s so much to love about this kitchen, starting with the turquoise linen slipcovered kitchen stools and that nautical sign above the kitchen hood mantle.
Kitchen stools are Jackson Counter Stool – Slipcovered in Washed Linen Fabric – Lagoon – $850 each.
“Oysters” sign is Fancy Oysters Long Sign Slippin’ Southern – $168.00

I’m beginning a kitchen renovation and will have a navy blue island as well! I can’t wait!
I would never have thought to do this, but I think it looks amazing and I love the stools! Sending you warm hugs…know you are a daily inspiration for your grandfather. xoxo
Gorgeous kitchen – can’t wait to see the rest of the home. Kate is a fantastic designer. Think of your and your dear grandfather often – I know he must be so proud of you and he’ll feel so much love from you.
Hugs
WOW…right up my alley!
I would love to know where the kitchen blinds are from! : )
I believe the island is Old Navy. I found it on Houzz. Hale Navy is much much darker than this island
Thank you Stephanie, but the paint color was sent by the interior designer. Color can change through photography/light and the computer monitor.

What is the color of the white kitchen cabinets? Looks gorgeous!
