When you imagine your dream cottage, where do you imagine it’s located? How about Martha’s Vineyard?
Imagine enjoying the magnificent views of Edgartown Harbor and Nantucket Sound. This newly renovated colonial style cottage is located on Edgartown Harbor and it reflects the character and charm of this historic whaling town.
The décor in this colonial cottage is anything but formal or stuffy . Do you remember that welcoming feeling you probably felt at your grandma’s house? This Martha’s Vineyard cottage has that same feel to it. Maybe this has to do with the slipcovered furniture or maybe it’s because of the unafraid mix of colors. This colonial cottage has that same feeling of comfort and coziness without feeling outdated.
Let’s dream…

Nantucket Dream
This is what summer is all about!
Do you have a favorite vacation spot? We have traveled the entire country and although I love our home, BC, I must say there’s something extraordinary about PEI. We travel there every summer and I’m not sure how to explain this, but I feel different there… I feel lighter, happier and relaxed. I love the beaches, the food and the people.
How about you? Do you have a favorite place?

So charming…I can smell the salt air!
What a bright and happy home! I love it…have several favorite vacation spots, Hawaii and the Caribbean with my family and Napa and Europe with just me and my husband! How about you!
I think you have your geography mixed up! Edgartown is on Martha’s Vineyard, not Nantucket.
My favorite (Canadian) beach vacation is on Lake Okanagan, because its so close to home, ;-), but in my childhood, it was the beach at Kouchibouguac National Park, on the Northumberland Strait. We are lucky to have so many options for beach access in most provinces across the country.
We visit Martha’s Vineyard in the summer and always stay in Edgartown. The hotel where we stay is across the street from this home, and I have wanted to see inside for years…thanks for the great tour!! Hope you’re having a wonderful week ~
I’ts a nice cottage, no doubt. But the kitchen is too small, isn’t? Well, anyway, if someone gives it to me I will not do reviews, it seems perfect, wonderful views and very nice rooms.
Have a good week, xoxo
