Design your formal living room with elegance and comfort in mind. This living room has both.
Paint Color: Trims and Built-in: “Sherwin Williams SW7005 Pure White” in eggshell.
The interior designer put black wallpaper behind the shelves.
Light fixture is “Crystorama Luxo 5 Light Drum Shade Nickel Chandelier”.
Coffee table is an antique piece found at “Brendan Bass” and chairs are from David Gilbert.
Pillows are from Restoration Hardware.
Entryway
Adding personality is a must to any foyer. You want you show who lives there and make it feel as an extension of what you can expect seeing in the rest of the house.
Since this entryway is very large, the designer divided it in several different areas.
Kitchen
White kitchen cabinets are always a classic, timeless choice.

Family Room
What a sophisticated family room! No mess aloud around here! 🙂

Dark dens can be incredibly inviting.
The dark stain on the wood work was custom finished and applied by a painter speciliazing in faux finishes.
Leather chairs are by “Wesley Hall”.

Traditional Dining Room
Round tables can make any dining room feel more intimate.
Rug is sisal.
Powder Room Design
You can’t go wrong by adding a beautiful wallpaper to a powder room. It adds interest and fun.
The wallpaper is “Manor Gate Silver Wallpaper by Schumacher”.
Mirror is the “Aubrey Mirror by Uttermost”.
Floors in the powder room is ” Calacatta marble in Wilshire Pattern” from Antique Floors.net.
Light fixture is an antique purchased at a local antique store.
Staircase & Nook
Paint Color: “SW 7005 Pure White.”
Floors are white oak hardwood with a custom blend that was made on site.
Master Bedroom
This master bedroom is traditional, warm and very soothing.

Carpet is “Mohawk Magic Isle- color, Crushed Shell”.
Drapery fabric is similar to: “Romo Melbury Collection – Haversham Fabric”.
Master Bathroom
Beautiful contrasts are found here. Notice the dark and white cabinets. Isn’t it interesting?!
Dimensions: This bathroom is 19’3″ long by 10’10” wide.
Floors are 12×12 Cappadocia from Ann Sacks…accent is 4×4 Thames Frosted Glass.

Guest Bathroom
I love seeing small bathrooms that are done right. The wallpaper brings this space to the next level.
Wallpaper: “Schumacher “shadow vine”.
The reasonably priced tiles are from DalTile – Keystone collection, White and Suede Gray.

This backyard is perfect in size and style!
Pool Dimensions: 12ft by 34ft.
Pool House
Beautiful architectural details were also added to the pool house.

How are you guys doing today? Did you have time to relax during the weekend? It was nice around here… I didn’t do much, just tried to sleep more and enjoy my time with my family.
We also celebrated my husband’s birthday. It was quiet — no parties, just a special dinner for the five of us — and it was wonderful. We laughed a lot and remembered some great moments we shared as a family.
…
One thing we must keep in mind… we shouldn’t be afraid of making more memories in our lives — perhaps we should be a little adventurous and we definitely should try to laugh more often. These are the moments we will remember the most.

The exterior architecture is nice but the interior design is so sterile that it makes me want to open up a couple buckets of paint and buy some vintage furniture to bring some life and hominess into that place.
I agree with Kari above! The outside is nice but the inside is bland, although tasteful. Love your point about not being afraid to make new memories – I understand what you’re communicating here – good point 🙂
