Undoubtedly, most of the population in this world loves their TVs, but how much do you love yours? Do you love it to the point to bring it into your kitchen?
I’ve seen TVs in kitchens before and that’s quite normal these days, but what really surprised me was the size of the TV in this kitchen, it almost feels as if they designed the whole kitchen around it and I wondered why someone needs a TV this big in their kitchen. I can understand having a big one in the family room or media room, but in the kitchen?
Please, take a look and tell me what you think!
Eating Area
Turn the TV off and share a real moment.
Living

I’d love to know if think having a BIG TV in a kitchen is something Cool or Fool. Share your thoughts! 🙂

Do you have plans for this weekend? We’re planning to buy schools supplies for the kids. I can’t believe soon we’re be starting everything again. It feels the summer went by so fast this year, maybe it’s because we have Matthew with us and if you have a baby, you know there isn’t enough hours in a day to do everything you need to do! Talking about our little one, he’s starting to crawl now and the kids and I keep encouraging him. It’s always a victory every time he reaches a toy and we can tell he’s happy too! 🙂
It’s really amazing how we take for granted every movement we have, every effort our bodies need to go through to get to where we are, to do what we do. I see this with my baby and I feel grateful I can see and experience this.
Let’s appreciate the gifts given to us. What’s the gift you appreciate the most in your life? What makes you feel blessed/gifted? This question is related about you only. The first thing that comes to my mind when asked about what’s the best blessing in my life, I know it’s my family, but I want you to think only about yourself, and answer what’s your best gift, what makes you feel blessed about yourself?
Enjoy this weekend thinking and feeling grateful for all the gifts given to you.
You are a gift.
* “Cool or Fool” happens every Friday. I’ve started this section where I post “different” and controversial things that I know some of you will love and others will not. The point is to tell us what you really think, regardless of anything. It’s a space where you speak your mind and analyze what you see. Have fun with it and laugh along the way!

I have a small tv in the kitchen as that is where I seem to spend most of my time. Washing dishes is less mundane if I have something to watch. We do not have it on during meal time, before and after only. Meal time is for conversation. Honestly, I find it very hard to commit 30 whole minutes to watching a show so I do like having the tv where I have the best chance of actually watching it. If there is a show I really really want to see I will put all of the televisions in the house on the same channel so I will catch at least bits and pieces as I wander about from room to room cleaning and putting laundry away. Have a great weekend with your family!
Hello Cheryl,
I agree with you, meal time if for conversation and I don’t see a problem of having a small TV in the kitchen. It can be entertaining. What I question is the “need” of having a huge TV like the one in this post. I just find it too overwhelming.
Thank you so much for sharing your opinion. I really enjoyed reading your comment.
Have a great weekend you too, Cheryl.

A small TV in the breakfast area in the morning is nice if you want to glance at the weather, or the headlines, but I can’t imagine something this big is needed.
What Marie said–!
I’m not a big tv fan in any room. The picture of the bull might hinder my appetite, too, but I love the chandelier. I have a post up now that celebrates an item from Tina’s shop. You might like it.
I do like to have a small TV in the kitchen area – especially while fixing dinner so I can watch the evening news. I don’t know why anyone would ever need a TV this large in their kitchen or eating area. Fool!
To answer your questions about MY gift … I think God blessed me with the ability to see something funny in everything. I have gone through a few scary events in my life and my humor truly kept me sane. I love to make people laugh from their gut … I am suspicious of people who cannot laugh til they pee themselves. That is the best feeling in the world – well before the chafing sets in from the wet pants. 🙂
i refuse to have a tv in the house at all and live very well without, so, no, i would not have one of any size in the kitchen-or bathroom.
Have to go with “fool” on this. My DH is a sports nut and I’ve learned to tune out the TV most of the time but I draw the line at the dinner table. We just finished a big reno creating a man cave for him downstairs in the walk out family room. Lots of light, lots of space, big screen and yet he still settles in the living room most of the time, tuned in to the whatever game is on. I know I should be thrilled he wants to be where I am, but, really??? *Sigh*
Sorry, no TV in my house! I use my computer if needed for news or to find a recipe.
This year, because my sister was diagnosed with stage 3B breast cancer, I have come to realize that for me, the greatest gift is the gift of good health. 🙂
Dont’ mind a small one but geez it doesn’t need to compete with the family room TV!!!!!!
Greatest gift is health of course, nothing else matters without it.
Enjoy your weekend and happy shopping, hard to believe we are there!
I hate TVs all oover the house we have one small TV and that’s it. Hate them in the bedroom too. It’s finally a rainy weekend so we’re getting tons dne in the house. Enjoy school shopping used to be my favorite.
