One of my favorite things about working in this business besides having your friendship is getting to know talented people that are passionate about their work as much as I am about mine. These people go far beyond to achieve “perfection” and this is what puts them miles ahead from the rest. I feel this way whenever I see homes built by Flagg Coastal Homes and I was very happy to see this freshly built Coronado Island beach house.
Located in Coronado Island, this beach house features beautiful and lively coastal interiors that we are now seeing often in California beach homes. The client entrusted the designers from Flagg Coastal Homes to not only design and build this home, but to have their associate Beth Delano, who operates Shipshape Interiors, design the interiors and even purchase the silverware, china and soft goods… this was a real special opportunity for their entire team.
The builder named the house “At Last” because the owner grew up in Coronado but lived away and always wanted to return.
Certain homes are dreamed for many years and you’re having the opportunity to see someone’s dream become reality… at last.
Ah… what an inviting front porch! The bifold doors open directly to the living room. Mounted ceiling heater extends the usage time for this porch.
Outdoor lighting is Visual Comfort in Chrome.
Outdoor Furniture is by Janus et Cie.
Bifold doors are by La Cantina.
Foyer
Classic Americana colors are evident in the foyer.
Mirror the “Coco Mirror” is by Made Goods.
Chest is Somerset Bay Gustavia Cabinet in Blueberry Crisp.
Chairs are Mr. Brown Home Country White Oak Beatrix Armchair in COM Thibaut Alexa.
Living room
Comfort and a soothing color palette creates a welcoming feel in this living room. I also love the bifold doors to the front porch.
Chairs are Lee Industries chairs in Lee fabric. Pillows in Thibaut Alexa.
All Pillows were fabricated by Levas & Son Draperies.

Lighting is Visual Comfort Torsade Floor Lamp.
Art is Lo Forti Fine Prints.
Paint Color
The wall paint color in the main floor is “Pratt & Lambert Seed Pearl 27-32 eggshell”.

Lighting is Visual Comfort Cawdor Buffet Lamps.
Metal side table is Somerset Bay.

Rug is by Stark and drapery is Conrad Shades Pattern 1762 Wintersea, provided by Levas and Son Draperies.

This bright and cheerful kitchen is the heart of the home. I especially love the barstools, the coffered ceiling and the stunning flooring! Cabinet paint color is Pratt & Lambert Designer White 33-1 in Semi-gloss.
Kitchen cabinets are custom by Beeco Cabinetry with maple interiors, full extension, soft close, shaker style.
Lighting & Fabric
Aren’t these new Ralph Lauren kitchen pendants fabulous?! Lighting is Visual Comfort Ralph Lauren Chatham Small Pendants in polished nickel
Barstools are Lee Industries in COM Duralee Cecilia.

Countertops were provided by Stones Unlimited, Casablanca Super White.
Cabinet Hardware is Cliffside Industries polished nickel in kitchen.
Kitchen faucet is Waterstone Annapolis.
Family Room
The kitchen opens to a cozy family room with coffered ceiling and a very practical media cabinet.
Fans are Big Ass Haiku Model.
Rope side table is from Made Goods.
Rug is by Stark.
Open Space
This highly functional open space overlooks the backyard.
Sectional Sofa is by Lee Industries in Duke Pumice, contrast welt in Petry Denim. Pillows in Thibaut Majuli Embroidery.
Dining Room Captain Chairs: Lee Industries in COM Thibaut Kuba.
Dining Side Chairs: Janus et Cie Suffolk Chair in Broken White.
Dining Table and Buffet Table: Somerset Bay in truffle.

Bifold doors open to a low-maintenance backyard with built-in outdoor kitchen, a detached garage and a guest house.
Outdoor Furniture and umbrellas are by Janus et Cie. Wicker is Deauville II in Vellum. Teak tables are Arbor collection in weathered teak. Cushions COM in Perennials.
Guest House Interiors
The guest house features a cozy bedroom with kitchenette and bathroom. Cabinet paint color is Pratt & Lambert Designer White 33-1 Semi-gloss.
Sconces and table lamps are from Visual Comfort.
Bathroom Mirror
The guest bathroom features a shell mirror – Blue Limpet Shell Mirror by Karen Robertson – $1,625.00.
Guest House Details
Wallpaper is Yacht Club YC 60507 from DRC San Diego – similar here & here.
Duvet is Beacon Hill Alice Stripe Slate – similar here. Euro pillow with Ball Trim from Kravet.
Stairway
Flagg Coastal Homes has a custom of including a Matisse print in one of the rooms. In “At Last” they placed a framed Matisse Blue Nude in the hallway by the stairway.
Striped bench is Trade Winds Furniture upholstered in Clarke & Clarke Napa.
Master Bedroom
This master bedroom was done to perfection! I love the soothing coastal color palette and the wall color. Paint color is “Pratt & Lambert Whitecap Gray 25-32”.
Headboard, nightstands, and bench are from Somerset Bay Vanilla Bean.
Duvet is Duralee Tilton Fenwick Jumana Sea Green.
Bedskirt Stripe Ralph Lauren.
Bench Fabric is Duralee 15430-99 Blueberry.
Lamps are Visual Comfort Open Bottom Gourd Table lamp in white glass.
Master Bathroom
The master bathroom offers a great layout and a beautiful combination of wall and floor tiles. The tile in the Master Bath are all polished Carrera marble plus 2 1/2 x 10 inch non-iridescent glass tiles and separate braid liners.
Bathroom Cabinet
Countertops were provided by Stones Unlimited, Casablanca Super White.
Cabinet hardware is from Restoration Hardware.
Lighting is Visual Comfort Camille Sconces polished nickel.
Faucets are from Newport Brass.
Tiles
The separate braid liners are from Stones Unlimited. I honestly love this fresh tile combination.
Bunk Room
These custom bunk beds sleep six. Notice the 6-inch beadboard ceiling.

Dream Home
Every detail was impeccably designed in this home, they even painted the homeowner’s bike to match the red front door! Red door paint color is ” Pratt and Lambert Apple Candy”.
