The homeowners had a beautiful home, but knew they wanted to tweak their existing space to accommodate for entertaining. With Twin Construction building the original house, they knew they wanted to work with Twin again on the renovation! The new spaces would include an additional screen porch, an office, a dining room that can seat 14 guests, a sitting room with a cozy fireplace, a living room that is open to all of these spaces, and a butler’s pantry that provides space for meal prep, etc. Also, the couple knew they wanted to use steel windows and doors and I really felt like they made a HUGE impact on how the space turned out. There is a little bit of everything in there: old wood, steel, antique furniture pieces mixed with new pieces, crystals, pops of color, etc. The homeowners worked closely with interior designer Laurie Fulkerson to create a sophisticated look yet still kept it fun, edgy and eclectic like the homeowners personalities. Laurie focused on scale, the bigger the better in this space! Oversized light fixtures, chairs, and windows are what added the pop and glam that they were going for in this space. They also did a custom master closet for them that is a dream of a master closet!
The brick exterior is existent, shingle and trim paint color is Benjamin Moore Briarwood. Shutters are Benjamin Moore Dragon’s Breath.
The kitchen cabinets are original and the designer just repainted them during the remodel. The kitchen cabinet paint color is White Dove by Benjamin Moore.

Kitchen Hardwood Flooring: The Pine hardwood flooring were matched to the existent and uses a custom stain formula.

The paint color, Woodwitch by Pratt and Lambert, really creates an extra cozy feel to this butler’s pantry. I also love the butcher block countertop and the bamboo shades.

How gorgeous is this dining room?! Reclaimed beams, coastal chandeliers and the existent furniture create an eclectic yet inviting feel. Walls are Benjamin Moore OC-17 White Dove in Eggshell.
Reclaimed wood comes from Old Taylor Distillery in Kentucky.
