A Cleveland homeowner wished to bring an East Hamptons look into her Midwest residence. Despite being hundreds of miles away from the New England coast, W Design was able to transform this shake-shingle home into the owner’s dream escape.
The living room design incorporates a shiplap ceiling and a relaxed lounge area with sophisticated accents in upholstery, lighting, and accessories. Layering breezy blues and crisp creams against classic English arm chairs and a textured chenille sofa, a casual elegance is brought to this space. Adjacent to the living room, a fresh, updated kitchen design was installed. A classic mix of polished nickel details and white cabinetry gives the space a clean and fresh face. The dining room incorporates the homeowner’s personal art collection amongst upholstered icy blue dining chairs and floral harlequin patterns. Incorporating eclectic artwork into the design plan with touches of blues and tangerines adds a colorful, whimsical element to this space. In the master suite, a palette of mineral greys and subtle silvers were introduced to achieve a calm, serene atmosphere.
