Every Tuesday I spend quite some time trying to find a special cottage to share with you guys. I have being posting cottages every Tuesday for a long time and I have to say that it’s not always easy to find cottages that combine striking interiors with an ideal location. It’s easy to find charming cottages from the outside, but not so charming inside and I have to say, I am very picky when it comes to cottages.
Having said that, I strongly feel this coastal cottage is certainly a very special one. Take a look and let me know if you agree with me.

Coastal with an eclectic flair. Why not, right?
The clock is a one-of-a-kind antique and the curved bench was custom made to fit the space.

Beautiful neutral colors and unexpected elements can be found in this dining room.

This is a very original way to design a dining room. Truly inspiring.
Classic Coastal Kitchen
I love simple, classic cabinets. This kitchen has straight lines and stunning hardware.
Notice the wood floor, marble and wainscoting. So beautiful!

Den
This den feels elegant and tailored without being too precious.
Grey Bathroom
It’s easy to fall in love with this bathroom. Great millwork, timeless marble tiles and countertop and curved cabinet.
Coastal Bedroom
Cottage-y bedrooms don’t get much better than this!
The wood floor is 16″ squares painted in a diamond pattern. Paint is custom mixed.
Bedroom with a View
Can you imagine waking up every morning and opening your curtains to see this view? Hard to not smile!
Bring me a cup of coffee and a croissant and I can have breakfast right at that balcony. Living the life!!! 🙂
Bathroom
Yet another classic approach is found here. I love the creamy white cabinet and wall color.
Guest Bedroom
This small bedroom becomes more practical with two beds. Perfect for guests!
Powder Room
I like seeing the beadboards in vertical and horizontal. It creates more interest to the space.

I could stay here for a quiet moment at the end of the day…

Utterly gorgeous Luciane! Love the foyer clock, the dining room (LOVE drop-leaf tables), and the main bedroom and guest bedroom and luscious! I’m not into marble but the kitchen is nice anyway! Oh and that window seat would be my hideaway!
Whoa…definition of “cottage” a small house, usually of only one story. 2. a small, modest house at a lake, mountain resort, etc., owned or rented as a vacation home. Such a place!! franki
