When designing this home, the main goal was to create the home of a lifetime for a busy family of six. Needs ranged from easy outdoor entertaining spaces to a craft room, formal dining, a thoughtfully designed white kitchen with a large pantry, 5+ bedrooms, great lighting and comfortable furniture. Take a look and you will see that the interior designer achieved every goal set for this home.
Elegant Family Home with Neutral Interiors
The paint color in the main floor is “Benjamin Moore Apparition 860”.
Dining Room
This neutral dining room is full of interest and beauty. Notice the transoms in the large hallway, the butler’s pantry and the double chandeliers above the dining table.
Kitchen
It’s easy to fall in love with a classic, crisp white kitchen like this one! Cabinet paint color is “Benjamin Moore White Diamond OC-61”.
Kitchen Dimensions: The islands are 40″ deep x 11′ long. The cabinets on range wall are 24″ deep.
All appliances in this kitchen are by “Thermador”.
Countertop
The countertops are marble.
Family Room
Lovely hues and beautiful, tailored furniture adds comfort and elegant to this space.
Light fixture is the “Alexa Hampton Myrna Chandelier“.

I am a fan of adding wallpaper in powder rooms. It’s an easy way to make a big impact in a small space!
Master Bedroom Design
The master bedroom is all about comfort, from its plushy carpeting flooring to its gentle color palette.
Another thing I love about this bedroom? The stunning water view!
Bathroom
The water view can also be enjoyed from this traditional bathroom.
I love the idea of adding a piece of furniture to expand storage space in bathrooms. It makes the space feel warmer and more complete.
Neutral Bedroom
This bedroom is any girl’s dream!
I am loving the window-seat flanked by the built-in bookshelves.
Decor
Delicate choices of fabric and furniture.
This vintage faux bamboo regency caned barrel chair looks current with a coat of silver paint.
Guest Bathroom
Fresh and fun, this gray bathroom is perfect in size and in style.

White & Gray Bedroom
This gray and white bedroom features a custom headboard made of silver patterned wallpaper and white frame.
The bed is flanked by a white nailhead side table with a white stacked sphere lamp to the left and a 2-drawer nightstand with Chanel lamp on the right below a pair of faux taxidermy deer mounts. The bedroom is finished with a white glass topped hutch to the left, beside an ivory and gray bench, with figurative fashion art on the opposite wall.
Being a Girl
This is an easy and affordable idea to store your jewelry. Always easy to find!
Pop of Color
Gorgeous bed! I am loving the tailored look of this white velvet tufted wingback headboard.
Side tables are the “Brigitte 3 Drawer Side Tables” from “Bungalow 5“.
Pink
Some pink accessories add fun and color to this bedroom.
Notice how this hue looks great against the gray walls and pillow.
Craft Room
This well-designed and fully-equipped craft room is perfect for family living. Gorgeous built-in white cabinets and glass upper cabinets paired with nickel hardware and white quartz counters alongside gray walls illuminated by a semi flush mount drum pendant, “Quoizel Deluxe Semi Flush Mount”.
Also notice the wrapping paper station and the stylish, custom counter height farmhouse-style table. Lighting above table are the “Boston Functional Library Two-Arm Wall Light” from Circa Lighting.
Flooring: The flooring is travertine in a Versailles pattern.

I missed my post yesterday because I had to finish a design project for a client and I really didn’t have time to prepare a post. But I am back today and I hope you had fun seeing this beautiful home.
My older kids will have their “Picture Day” at school next week and I will be busy cutting their hair today. Believe it or not, I am also the hairstylist of the family. 🙂 Actually, it’s something I love to do since I was a kid. I used to color my grandmother’s hair (I used to love the time we spent together!) and I even cut my best friend’s hair when I was around 5 y/o. Yep… that was not a very smart thing to do and I got in a big trouble… LOL … I guess starting that early paid off… my kids now always get compliments about their hair. Experience, I say…. experience… LOL 😉
